Celestite or Celestine is a strontium sulfate mineral and is colorless in its pure form. Impurities give it a wide range of colors, one of the most common is blue.  Geodes from Madagascar often contain large deep blue crystals from which the name is derived referencing the blue of the celestial sky.   It found worldwide.

Uses

Celestite is the only known source of strontium.  It occasionally is cut into jewelry, and in its natural state is often used a decoration.

Meaning

Celestite is a high vibrational stone, allowing connection into the Crown and Third-Eye Chakras and down into the Throat Chakra bringing mental calm.  It can aid one in getting through a traumatic period.  It can relieve stress, anxiety, and obsessive behaviors. It brings harmony and balance assisting the holder in finding and maintaining inner peace.  It is a stone of peace and harmony and can bring these qualities into daily living.  Because it brings mental calm, it is a great facilitator for deep states of meditation, opening the mind to communication from the higher realms.
